Joy is just bumming...

In between shopping and buffets, watching movies and drama serials, planning birthdays and attending birthdays, I hv been doing personality quizzes. Haha! Welcome to my life - and my rather empty bank account. :(

Jessica claimed this test is really accurate so I gave it a go!

Your view on yourself: You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for: You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship: You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you meet that person.

The seriousness of your love: Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education: Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can. (I agree!! But not really bcoz I want to learn as much as I can but more so bcoz I want to prolong the luxury of not working. HEHEHE!)

The right job for you: You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success: You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. (Sigh.. No more news broadcaster...)

What are you most afraid of: You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel. (Very very very true!)

Who is your true self: You are full of energy and confidence (?!?!). You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean (YES YES YES!). You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Check out you personality at http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx! :)

Shall go see if the latest Boys Over Flowers episode is out already...

Btw, I know I am really slow but I am hooked on "命生注定我爱你" now... Somehow I always like this poor or stupid girl, fall for rich guy, live happily ever aft sort of scenerio. My Cinderella dream perhaps? ToGetHer is a very nice show too! I can't really relate to Momo's character but its nice to see the low-key ppl in the limelight for a change. :)

On a happy note, I went shopping with Mommy and I saw a v chio external harddisk. I initially fell for the baby blue one. Rare to see this shade of blue on electronic items ma!!!!

But unbelivably, Mama said:

"Get the pink one la! Match your laptop, mouse, camera and bedroom walls!"

I was pretty stunned since she usually nags me abt being too girly pink! :P

But since I really liked the blue.................... I think your know what she did la? Hehe! She spoils me. Really. LOL! Now I got 2 back-ups... One to bring to Australia and one to leave behind in case I lose the one I brought. Lalala~

On an even happier note, I had the Pizza Hut student promo today (must really exploit the student pass before it expires!) and I went to Ikea Tampines!!!! Saw many things I want to buy when I go again with Trixie darling! :)

P/S: I am broke.
P/P/S: I am still sick.

What is happening to me?

I'm moody... Again.

Yesterday, was exceptionally bad so I posted an entry tt was initially drafted. I am no stranger to drafting entries. Many a times, when I just need an avenue to express myself, I blog. But not all the time I publish, for various reasons. More so if they are weepy ones.

This time around, I am not sad. Just afraid.

But tt is no reason to be so transparent abt my emotions on a public blog. So for the first time, I hv deleted an entry.

Marriage, the start of a new beginning?

"A successful marriage depends on two things: finding the right person and being the right person"... To me, a marriage is a lifelong commitment between two ppl who promise to do everything possible just to make the other happy. If soulmates do exist, it probably means this. :)

On the 21st of March, a rainbow appeared to signify the union between Chris and Sye Ling. Trixie was taking photos of the lovely pink sky on our way to the hotel when she accidently caught a rainbow!

Playing as we got ready to leave the house.

We were waiting for Brian who was trying to get his hair to stand. :P

Finally a photo of him with Trixie and Alisa.

With me!!!!
He is a very sweet, indulgent and attentive guy. And most importantly, he is SINGLE! Any takers? 0.0

GROUP PIC!! ^^

Our table set-up at Intercontinental Hotel. Nice baby blue and white theme.. :)

The individual setting.. With a gift and pretty rolled napkins in ribbons.

I graduated!

Look like Tiffany and Co. hor? *wishful thinking*

Thought it was gonna be chocolates or fruit cake. Didn't expect cute magnets! :D

Pretty 5-tier cake. Did you know all this wedding dinner cakes are fake?! They hv a little slit at the back to slot the knife in.... Just for symbolic sake. :P

Nice lighting!

Mama and small aunt.

At the VIP table with my grandma and the uncle who asked abt "the 3 ladies at table 1". Hahaha! I am jealous coz they hv prettier plates. Hmpf!!

Waiting for the food took alot of patience. Luckily, there was the camera!

Say cheeeeeeese!!! :)

First appearance of the bride in a v v v long fluffy dress and alot of smoky dry ice!

So sweet can?! *Awwwww*

Then the couple read out love letters to each other as the photo montage played in the background and the waitresses walked down the aisle with FOOD!

The appetizer platter. Cold dish la!

Sharksfin soup which I abhorred. No sharksfin at my wedding, I swear!

Drunken prawns, I likeeee!

Then came an interval where the couple's friends screened the video of sabos the groom and his friends had to endure in the morning before he cld pick up his bride. Heehee!

We also took a toilet break.

Explored the hotel a little too! Haha!

When I returned, the 4th dish had already been served and cleared... All tts left was my portion on my plate. Luckily someone kept an abalone for me! :P

Steamed fish...

Roasted chicked... No beak le. Poor thing. :(

Seafood e-fu noodles!

Dessert of mango sago. Sweet!!

Second appearance of the important couple, this time, the bride donned a red cheongsum to pop the champagne.

There were 3 rounds of yam-seng.

Cheers to a new life!

Andre Maurois once aptly said, "A happy marriage is a long conversation which always seems too short."

I hope someday, I will meet a guy who can't get enough of me. A guy who will talk to me till I fall asleep and still be happy bcoz he can hear the sound of my breathing. He need not have alot or look good... Just loving me this way, will make me v satisfied. :)
